As we welcomed our new President, Jenny Parkes, we dined at Scott Pickett’s new restaurant ‘Chancery Lane’, the site of Vue de Monde in a previous incarnation.
Scott has never disappointed at any of his venues, and this was no different.
The space has been dramatically transformed into a classy intimate one, that creates a sense of occasion as you enter. It’s a heritage listed site with an opulent fit-out by Design Studio Bergman & Co.
Chef Rob Kabboord finely crafted dishes with perfect technique and an absence of trickery.
He spent 4 years at Sydney’s very high end Quay, and had the highly regarded Merricote in Melbourne.
Numerous trial dinners have been an absolute delight here.
The Wine & Food Masters Drew Hewson & Andrew Navakas gave us a sensational menu & suitably matching wines for us to enjoy.
